The McKenzie House is located exactly 1.8 miles from the bottom of the McKenzie River Trail, one of America’s most incredible mountain biking opportunities.

Descend nearly 2,000 feet over 26.5 miles of pristine single track and then ride the rest of the way home (less than 2 miles of flat riding) to your slice of paradise at the McKenzie House. Then take a hot shower outside, stretch out in the hot tub, rest in the sauna!

With an onsite bike shed and cleaning station, your beloved bikes will get all the care they need as well! Get a ride to the top and bike all the way home! Local shuttle services available so you never even have to get in your car: Other local MTB trails: O’leary, Olallie, Castle Rock and King’s Castle.

Roadie paradise as well! The Old McKenzie Highway (Hwy 242) and the Aufderheide Highway (FR 19) are both less than five miles away, offering some of Oregon’s best road cycling.

Bad weather or just want a quick ride? Bring your cleats! The McKenzie House offers a peloton free for guests to use.
